For Posterity's Sake... (June 8, 2009)

Another week, another post...

• The biggest thing that happened is actually still going on. Our dog, Cinders, is having puppies. There is a cuteness overload in progress. The key quote comes from my youngest brother, who announced (in a slight panic) to my mom that "There is a bubble coming out of Cinders' butt!"
• Worked more baseball, ate more sunflower seeds, called more strikes.
• Watched a pretty great talk by Janet Smith on the conscience.
• I'm in the middle of reading Quo Vadis. I started reading it many years ago, but didn't get into it. Started again, and am unable to put it down.
• Found a solid cedar hope chest, which has seen better days, but with a bit of TLC and a lot of sandpaper, it should be just dandy. I plan on keeping my things in it for the next 50-60 years.
