For Posterity's Sake... (May 18, 2009)

I've seen this on a number of other personal blogs (like C$'s) and even though it definitely delves into the realm of putting more useless boring information on the web that no one cares about, I want to do it anyway. On Mondays I'll post whatever happened in my life over the past week.

My hope is that one day my great-grandson will be exploring an old, musty corner of the internet, come across my blog, and be able to make astute observations about his heritage, such as "Wow, my great-grandfather was a dolt."

You see, I have to do this. For posterity's sake.

May 11-18
  • Called a lot of baseball games, in one of which I was almost completely unable to get a consistent strike zone. I blame swine flu.
  • Ate a lot of sunflower seeds.
  • Got to talk to Fr. David, which is always good.
  • Traveled to Front Royal, VA to watch my sister graduate Summa Cum Laude. Congratulations!
  • Found the ragg-wool sweater that got me through half of high school. It's as ugly as it was then, but I'll probably start wearing it as much as I did then.
  • While in VA for the weekend, I left the sun roof open in the car. When I got back, everything was squishier and wetter than I remember it being.
